Power-Box : Electric-Trailer Electric Power Assistance This is our newest development. We want to offer our modular Power Assistance for all different HPV usages. Yes, the power assistance will be given via an e-trailer called "Power-Box". The beauty and quality is the same as the one of our Cab-Bike. The "Power-Box" is a trailer with one single tyre. The motor is built up on the swingarm of the trailer. The batteries are also in the "Power-Box". The "Power-Box" can be separated from the HPV just via a simple connecting devise. This allows the recharging of the battery anywhere. |
"Power-Box" at the Cab-Bike Of course the „Power-Box“ can be attached to a Cab-Bike We have developed special plates to be attached with screws on the Cab-Bike swing-arm. The „Power-Box“ single arm is connected onto the special plates. The electrical separation is made at the same spot using special waterproof plugs/sockets. In this way the „Power-Box“ can be taken away from the Cab-Bike at any time.
"Power-Box" at other Velomobiles Of course the „Power-Box“ can be attached to another velomobiles We shall develop special plates to be screwed on the swing-arm of another velomobiles. Please ask for your requirements, to allow us to clarify any technical details. The "Power-Box" will be attacheble to following velomobiles: Alleweder, C-Alleweder, Mango, go-one, Leitra,Quest.
"Power-Box" at recumbents Of course the „Power-Box“ can be attached to recumbents Special plates are available for most standard rear wheels.
"Power-Box" at bicycles Of course the „Power-Box“ can be attached to bicycles Special plates are available for most standard rear wheels.
Motor-Gearbox unit We use a brushless 24V DC motor. Burshless mortors have a longer life due to the fact that they do not have any brushes. Therefore the brushes can not burned. Die Power Assistance is controlledby a twiss-grip which is assembled on the handelbar of the HPV. From the twiss-grip the cables go down to the "Power-Box". The cables between the HPV and the "Power-Box" get separated by plugs/sockets in the area of the HPV swing-arm. |
